1. Treat the Underlying Cause

Antibiotics can help blood blisters caused due to viral or bacterial infection. However, you should consult with your doctor before taking antibiotics. If you’re allergic to certain drugs or antibiotics, it may worsen the condition.

You physician may prescribe you ulcer gels, medicated toothpaste, steroids, or mouthwashes. Consider taking natural vitamin supplements if the blood blisters in mouth are due to vitamin deficiency.

8. Turmeric

Turmeric has healing properties which can work wonders for mouth blisters. Mix turmeric powder with rose water and honey to create a paste and apply it on the blister. Let it stay for a while and then rinse your mouth with tap water. You can also mix turmeric in warm milk and drink it every day.

9. Witch Hazel

Witch hazel works as an astringent and dries up the blisters. It can help reduce the pain and the inflammation. Apply witch hazel extract on the blister and let it dry. Repeat this remedy four times a day.

10. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has antiseptic, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties which dry out the blood blister in the mouth. Dilute tea tree oil with warm water and apply to the blister. Keep for 10 minutes and rinse with cold water. Repeat this process several times a day.

Don’t ever squeeze the mouth blisters. When you suffer from blisters, you may get tempted to pop or squeeze them. However, doing so can worsen the condition. Popping the blister may lead to ulceration and inflammation leading to bacterial infection which will delay the recovery.
