Blueberries, Citrus fruits, whole Cranberries, Lemons limes, Grapefruits, Gooseberry, which is replete with vitamin C.

Orange, Sweet Lime, Apples and Mango, Orange peels. These fruits mentioned above can be recommended to the jaundice patients.

  1. The patient should eat only these recommended vegetables like Carrots, Beets, Tomato,

Pumpkin, Cabbage or Broccoli, Cauliflower, Sweet Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Yam, Olives, Avocados and Cruciferous vegetables, Savoy Cabbage, Kohlrabi, Wild Broccoli, Komatsuna, Mizuna, Rutabaga, Watercress, Radish, Daikon, Mustard Greens, Kale.

  1. Honey can also be given to the patient, as it is considered a digestive enzyme substance.
  2. Whole grain can also be offered like Amaranth, Barley, Buckwheat, Corn, Oats, Quinoa, Wheat, Rice.
  1. Nuts can also be provided, as they are a good source of fiber and fat.

Nuts consist of vitamin E, Minerals, Magnesium, Nuts, reduces cholesterol levels, and high blood pressure.

Jaundice patient must eat nuts as much as he or she can eat to combat ailments.

  1. The patient should eat legumes like Soybeans, Peanuts, Chickpeas, Lentil, Beans, and Peas because legumes have a high amount of nutritional value.

 

Jaundice patient is prohibited from eating or drinking

  1. The patient should not eat fish.

The liver can be damaged due to it.

  1. The patient should not take alcohol. As it can cause or harm to your liver.
  2. The patient should not eat meat as it consists of fats, which is very hard for the liver.
  3. The patient should not junk food or processed food as it contains a lot of sodium.
  4. The patient should not use sugar in tea or coffee.
  5. Table salt is not allowed the patient.
  6. Turmeric intake should not be there.
  7. The patient must avoid every yellow food like egg/turmeric.
  8. The patient should not take tea or coffee.
  9. The patient should avoid Parathas, Noodles, Butter Chicken, and Dal Makhan, Finger Chips.
  10. The patient must not go for significant fructose corn syrup.

Refined Suger is also not allowed, as it can cause fat build up in Lever.

  1. The patient should not eat food to his or her heart’s content or full stomach.

 

Frequent meal intake is advised

  1. The patient should not overeat Oily or Spicy things. It can aggravate his Lever.
  2. The patient should not eat Curd or take Butter Milk.
  3. The patient should avoid Maida (Refined White Flour).
  4. The patient must not eat pickles, condiments.
  5. The patient should not eat Banana, also.
  6. The patient should not eat fried substances.

Only boiled or steamed food should be consumed.

 

Do’s and Don’ts for Jaundice

  1. The patient must take only bed rest.

He or she should not have more movement or walk.

  1. The patient must not watch the TV longer.
  2. The patient must keep on taking liquid substances like Glucose, Lemon Juice, Dehydrated water in a small quantum frequently.
  3. The patient must not talk to someone any longer.
  4. The patient must take fruit juice or cat fruits more as much as possible.
  5. The patient must take medicines on the exact time or correctly and sugarcane juice frequently.
  6. The patient must not get across the instruction of the Physician.
  7. The patient may crave eating spicy food or choice food during Jaundice, but he or she should not be given at all.

The patient might be irritable over this sometime. But make sure as long as the patient is undergoing treatment.

It is strictly prohibited to him.

  1. A caretaker must be available near to the patient to look offer him or her. Let he or she should eat forbidden food or drink stealthily or slyly.
  2. The music should not be played on where the patient is sleeping or sitting.
  3. The patient should not sit in the sunlight for a long time.
  4. The patient should not take a bath with cold water.
  5. The patient should remain calm and take rest or much as possible.

The person who is afflicted with Jaundice he or she has to abide by the instructions of the

Physician about the things does and down obviously.

Indeed most of the children become very obstinate about eating anything.

They start either crying or quarreling with their parents, not getting choice food or substance.

The children become irritable because of this.

They are reluctant to eat or drink during Jaundice.

But it their child is not alive then what they will expect.

Hence the parents must be very stern about his or her care.

They must have strict vigil on the child about the jaundice diet.

The parents need to know only one thing, whether they want to cure the child or worsen his / her sickness.

According to the statistic research data, many children, as well as adolescents, are died due to recklessness observation and diet obstinacy.

The mortality rate of the children is higher them in adolescents.

There have been many incidents of jaundice patients/children that they skipped taking food during the treatment.

As a result, they had been too admitted again into the hospital. And they were administered saline to bring them to the line of control.

Their parents complained that his or her child was finding great difficulty to eat anything.

They forced him/her to eat food recommended by the Physician but no use of that.

Then they had to give their choice food intake in heart-melting condition.

But it proved them very costly. They had to admit to the child again.

As the disease [Jaundice] aggravated or worsen.

Hence the parent of the children is kindly advised to be very stern or strict about the diet of their children during the treatment of Jaundice.

They must follow this proverb “Prevention is better than cure” / “Nip in the bud.”

Prevention is always safe and sound.

Jaundice is born to infants, teenagers, adults, and grown-up or elder ones.

The person must go to the Physician if he notices the signs or symptoms of yellowness on the face.

Both eyes and face seem to pale or yellow.
